Heat Treating Furnaces

Armil CFS manufactures custom furnaces for the metals heat treating industry. Each furnace
is designed to perform in each users unique application. All Armil CFS furnaces feature heavy
duty steel construction, quality refractory installed by skilled craftsmen, and the latest in
combustion and control technology.
Roller Hearth Furnace
- Designed to heat alloy plate products
- 38 high velocity burners in 4 zones of control
- Temperature uniformity of +/- 25°F within operating
temperatures of 1750°F to 2100°F
- Automatically adjusts to operator setpoints for
oxidizing, stoichiometric, or reducing atmospheres
- Water cooled refractory lined rolls

Screw Hearth Furnace
- Inline furnace designed to harden, quench, and
temper alloy bars to 8” in diameter
- No straightening required after quenching and
tempering
- “V” cast alloy rolls move bars through furnace
- Automatic material handling including automatic
feed, hardness testing, cutting, and bundling.

Pit Furnace
- Electrically heated
- +/- 15°F temperature uniformity from 400°F to 1450F
- Air cooled plug style fan allows for long life, easy
maintenance

Lift off Furnace (Bell Furnace)
- Designed to heat large forgings, bar stock, and pipe
- +/- 10° F temperature uniformity from 1000°F to
2000°F
