Fiberfrax textiles are high temperature ceramic fiber fabrics for applications requiring strong, flexible, high temperature resistant materials. Fiberfrax textiles are woven from a ceramic fiber yarn with superior insulating performance to 2300° F, and insert materials for added tensile strength. In applications where tensile strength is important, temperature limit of insert material should be considered. Ceramic fiber textiles have excellent resistance to thermal shock, corrosive attack, and mechanical stress. Ceramic Fiber products are attacked by hydrofluoric and acids and concentrated alkalies.
