Holding Furnaces for Aluminum and Zinc Die Casting

Armil C.F.S. manufactures and relines holding furnaces for the non ferrous die casting industry. Furnaces may be gas or electric fired, board or castable lined.

Armil CFS manufactures and relines low energy electric fired holding furnaces utilizing BNZ Materials' Marinite A non wetting calcium silicate boards. Board linings offer several advantages over traditional castable linings in low energy electric holding furnaces. These include:

  • Board Linings are more energy efficient then castable linings.
  • Marinite A boards have better non wetting characteristics then castable refractories
  • Board linings are modular-baffles or inner liners can often be replaced
  • Minimal Dry out times

Armil CFS also builds and relines melting and holding furnaces using non-wetting castable refractories manufactured by Minteq Refractories or Resco Products. Various low cement, non wetting formulations are offered.
